  The residents of the Sri Saradha Devi Illam Welfare Association, Malaysia have celebrated the pongal festival with great enthusiasm at our association. This festival is dedicated to the sun god, Surya Bhagawan, and corresponds to Makar Sankranti, the harvest festival under many regional names celebrated throughout India. The three days of the Pongal festival are called Surya Pongal, and Mattu Pongal and Kaanum Pongal.

Health Care Program for Children of Sri Saradha Devi Ashram

On Saturday, 28 August 2021, Mr Kathirawan and his team conducted a Health Care Program for the children of Sri Saradha Devi Ashram. The program consists of exercise session as well as healthy lifestyle talk describing importance of exercise and eating a balanced diet.
We thank Mr Kathirawan and his team for their wonderful effort and time spent for the benefit of our children😀!
