  The residents of the Sri Saradha Devi Illam Welfare Association, Malaysia have celebrated the pongal festival with great enthusiasm at our association. This festival is dedicated to the sun god, Surya Bhagawan, and corresponds to Makar Sankranti, the harvest festival under many regional names celebrated throughout India. The three days of the Pongal festival are called Surya Pongal, and Mattu Pongal and Kaanum Pongal.

The Moondravathu Kann famous Agasthiyar Jeeva Naadi Reader, Mr Babu visited Sri Saradha Devi Ashram on Wednesday, 14 March 2018. 

He was welcomed by the president of Sri Saradha Devi Ashram, Dr Kumaran Adakalam and all children of our association.
