SSDI Ponggal Celebration 2023

  The residents of the Sri Saradha Devi Illam Welfare Association, Malaysia have celebrated the pongal festival with great enthusiasm at our association. This festival is dedicated to the sun god, Surya Bhagawan, and corresponds to Makar Sankranti, the harvest festival under many regional names celebrated throughout India. The three days of the Pongal festival are called Surya Pongal, and Mattu Pongal and Kaanum Pongal.

Visitation by National Sports Council

A special visitation was conducted by Ms Yamini, Federal State National Karate Coach and Ms Jennifer, Head, Sports Development Branch, Women in Sports Secretariat from the National Sports Council to Sri Saradha Devi Ashram on 16 March 2021. 

The objective of visit was to meet the children of our home as well as to discuss on the sports activities to be conducted for the children through the National Sports Council. Sri Saradha Devi Ashram humbly thanks their effort towards the development of our children and looks forward in working together with them.
