  The residents of the Sri Saradha Devi Illam Welfare Association, Malaysia have celebrated the pongal festival with great enthusiasm at our association. This festival is dedicated to the sun god, Surya Bhagawan, and corresponds to Makar Sankranti, the harvest festival under many regional names celebrated throughout India. The three days of the Pongal festival are called Surya Pongal, and Mattu Pongal and Kaanum Pongal.

Children of the Sri Saradha Devi Ashram were brought to watch Frozen 2 movie at Starling Mall by UOB Bank. This is a UOB Bank CSR event for children in need. We thank UOB Bank for their kindness and generosity.
