  The residents of the Sri Saradha Devi Illam Welfare Association, Malaysia have celebrated the pongal festival with great enthusiasm at our association. This festival is dedicated to the sun god, Surya Bhagawan, and corresponds to Makar Sankranti, the harvest festival under many regional names celebrated throughout India. The three days of the Pongal festival are called Surya Pongal, and Mattu Pongal and Kaanum Pongal.

Annual Navarathiri Prayers

Annual Navarathiri auspicious ceremony was celebrated at Sri Saradha Devi Ashram for 12 days. The worship of the goddess was held in conjunction with the triumph of the goddess to eliminate evil. The worship of the goddess during these 12 days will greatly benefit the worshippers.
