Monthly First Aid Training Classes

On 3 March 2019, the first session of First Aid Training class was conducted by Ms Mariammah Sandasagaran, a registered staff nurse for the children of Persatuan Kebajikan Sri Saradha Devi Illam. 

The children were initially taught on proper hand washing techniques and was later taught on the basic first aids to be practiced during an emergency. In the 2 hour session, 4 topics as follows were covered:

1. How to stop severe bleeding

2. How to treat food poisoning

3. Treating burns

4. Wound dressing

Children were also exposed to a hands-on practical session at the end of the classroom training.
