  The residents of the Sri Saradha Devi Illam Welfare Association, Malaysia have celebrated the pongal festival with great enthusiasm at our association. This festival is dedicated to the sun god, Surya Bhagawan, and corresponds to Makar Sankranti, the harvest festival under many regional names celebrated throughout India. The three days of the Pongal festival are called Surya Pongal, and Mattu Pongal and Kaanum Pongal.

Deepavali CSR Program by Perlis Plantation Berhad (PPB) Group

It was a tremendous pleasure for Sri Saradha Devi Ashram to welcome PPB Group for a Deepavali CSR program at our association. The program was graced by the presence of Ms Susan, the PPB Group CSR Manager and her team.
 
They conducted various games for the children of Sri Saradha Devi Ashram and also provided delicious luncheon. Besides, they also sponsored bookshelves, desktops and laptops for the educational benefit of our children.
 
We truly thank PPB Group for their generous and kind contributions towards the education of our children. The success of our educational initiatives is made possible by the continuous support of donors just like PPB.
