  The residents of the Sri Saradha Devi Illam Welfare Association, Malaysia have celebrated the pongal festival with great enthusiasm at our association. This festival is dedicated to the sun god, Surya Bhagawan, and corresponds to Makar Sankranti, the harvest festival under many regional names celebrated throughout India. The three days of the Pongal festival are called Surya Pongal, and Mattu Pongal and Kaanum Pongal.

CSR Painting by SSDI Children at SJK Tamil Rawang

On 8 April 2021, the children of Sri Saradha Devi Ashram carried out their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program at SJK Tamil Rawang. Their CSR program involved painting the classroom of SJK Tamil Rawang. The children truly enjoyed their day throughout the program despite the tiredness. Sri Saradha Devi Ashram would like to thank SJK Tamil Rawang for providing our children with the opportunity to serve.
