SSDI Ponggal Celebration 2023

  The residents of the Sri Saradha Devi Illam Welfare Association, Malaysia have celebrated the pongal festival with great enthusiasm at our association. This festival is dedicated to the sun god, Surya Bhagawan, and corresponds to Makar Sankranti, the harvest festival under many regional names celebrated throughout India. The three days of the Pongal festival are called Surya Pongal, and Mattu Pongal and Kaanum Pongal.

Sri Vidyarthi Bala Award

The Sri Vidyarthi Bala Award was given to the children of the Sri Saradha Devi Ashram who have successfully completed 100,000 recitations of the chant given to them. Sri Saradha Devi Ashram congratulates all award receivers and hope that this would inspire the other children to also follow the similar footstep.
