SSDI Ponggal Celebration 2023

  The residents of the Sri Saradha Devi Illam Welfare Association, Malaysia have celebrated the pongal festival with great enthusiasm at our association. This festival is dedicated to the sun god, Surya Bhagawan, and corresponds to Makar Sankranti, the harvest festival under many regional names celebrated throughout India. The three days of the Pongal festival are called Surya Pongal, and Mattu Pongal and Kaanum Pongal.

Charitable Event for Baby Navitha Sree

This program was organized by the Sri Saradha Devi Ashram to start fundraising for Navitha Sree's surgery. The program was officiated by Rawang assemblyman YB Chua Wei Kiat and was attended by other NGOs. The children of our association donated their RM 1000 deepavali money to Navitha Sree.
