Yeaaaaa... we made it again😊! This time with 38 medals (16 gold, 13 silver and 9 bronze)!!!
On 22 September 2019, children from Sri Saradha Devi Ashram took part in Kejohanan Silambam Piala Mesa Mall 2019 organised by Malaysian Silambam Association.
Our children participated in both the individual and group categories. It was truly a proud moment when they bagged 38 medals for their participation in both the individual and group category.
This tournament has provided our children with many positive takeaways and experiences. They learned:
1. the tactics of defence,
2. the importance of mind power
3. discipline, and most importantly
4. confidence.
Though their opponents were much more experienced, our children gave an equally tough fight. The tournament served as a great platform of exposure for our children in preparing themselves for all upcoming tournaments.
Sri Saradha Devi Ashram would like to take this opportunity to humbly thank Master Manimaran for bringing our children to such great heights within a short period of time. It was his dedication and motivation that has made us to emerge victoriously.
More successes to come... all the best to Master Manimaran and all our silambam warriors!!!
