A Spelling Bee Competition was held at Sri Saradha Devi Ashram on 6 April 2019. All children were required to participate in this competition.
The purpose of this program was to help our children to improve their spelling, to increase their vocabulary, to learn concepts, and to develop correct English usage for a lifetime.
Children were given a set of words to be practiced a week prior to the competition. They were then divided into 3 groups on the competition day and were required to spell out the randomly given words.
The competition was won by the team Morning Glory and the best individual spellers were won by Devadarshini and Kirrtanah. The event ended with prize giving ceremony to the winners.
