A motivational talk was arranged for all children of Sri Saradha Devi Ashram on 10 March 2019. The speaker was a very well known person for her persistence and hard work. It was Ms Nerosha Krishnan, the 2nd Runner-Up of Wheel Chair Queen Competition 2018, who impressed the judges with her dancing skills in the wheel chair.
Ms Nerosha lost her leg due to an accident which took place 4 years ago. It took her 3 years to eventually open up and come back to the reality check that she is still capable to achieving her dream to at least become a dancer. Her disability did not stop her from her practice to dance, this time while being on a wheelchair.
She came across this Beauty Queen competition and has decided to take part in it. She performed confidently and won 2nd runner up. This achievement proved that all her hardwork doesn’t go waste and she began to realise her own capabilities.
Ms Nerosha's speech taught the children that hard work never fails and that they can also achieve greater heights with persistent effort and hardwork.
