It was a good day for Persatuan Kebajikan Sri Saradha Devi Illam on 5 March 2019 as we were honored with the official visitation of YB Tuan Ganabatirau Veeraman, the Selangor State EXCO. This visitation was a part of YB's Welfare Exploration Program in Rawang which focused on helping the underprivileged with their welfare needs.
YB Tuan Ganabatirau had a fruitful discussion with the management of Persatuan Kebajikan Sri Saradha Devi Illam focusing on Women Empowerment Initiative Program which emphasises on the development programmes designed for underprivileged girls at our welfare home. This programs encompases the following:
1. Silambam class
2. Yoga class
3. Educational and Academic Classes
4. Art/Craft Class
5. Hinduism Class
6. Computer Class
7. Skilled Training Courses - Culinary Class
We truly believe that all the above-mentioned classes would be of a great benefit for the children at our welfare home as they promote excellent and balanced growth physically, mentally and spiritually. It would also enhance the children's self-confidence, personality and skills.
This is important in order to get the underprivileged as well as the reasonably privileged ladies/girls or women to come to realise their worth and potential.
Sri Saradha Devi Ashram takes this opportunity to humbly thank YB Ganabatirau for his willingness in allocating his time for this visitation and for his support towards our Women Empowerment Initiative Program.
