Meeting between Charity and Social Welfare Association for The Well-Being of Underprivileged Children

On 9th March 2019, a meeting was held at Persatuan Kebajikan Saradha Devi Illam between 9 welfare homes located throughout the country. The 9 welfare homes are as follows:

1. Persatuan Kebajikan Sri Saradha Devi Illam Malaysia, Rawang, Selangor

2. Pertubuhan Kebajikan Bhagawan Sri Ramakrishna Malaysia, Melaka

3. Persatuan Kebajikan Sri Sakthi Ashram, Tangkak, Johor

4. Persatuan Meditasi Malaysia Dhyana Ashram, Kulim, Kedah

5. Persatuan Saiva Siddhanta Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur

6. Persatuan Kebajikan Ihsan Kanak-Kanak Arut Perum Jothi, Sitiawan, Perak

7. Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Vivekananda, Rembau, Negeri Sembilan

8. Sivananda Boys Home, Batu Caves, Selangor

9. Persatuan Kebajikan Siva Sakthi Samaj, Kuala Lumpur

The main objective of this meeting was to discuss on the well-being of underprivileged children in these welfare homes and ways of improving the quality of their lives.

All welfare homes that attended the meeting had aim to provide underprivileged children under their care with good education equipped with all basic necessities in order to promote excellent growth physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. 

We collectively believe that proper education together with spirituality will produce an all-rounded individual who will be able to contribute positively to the nation and community in the future. Now, these 9 welfare homes will be joining hands in the nearest future under a Children Welfare and Development Program entitled "We Too Deserve An Opportunity" led by Sri Saradha Devi Ashram to conduct various educational, self development and religious programs for the benefit of all the underprivileged children. We aim to empower underprivileged children through this noble initiative.
