  The residents of the Sri Saradha Devi Illam Welfare Association, Malaysia have celebrated the pongal festival with great enthusiasm at our association. This festival is dedicated to the sun god, Surya Bhagawan, and corresponds to Makar Sankranti, the harvest festival under many regional names celebrated throughout India. The three days of the Pongal festival are called Surya Pongal, and Mattu Pongal and Kaanum Pongal.

It's Carnival Time!

A carnival was arranged by the children of Sri Saradha Devi Ashram for all its volunteers and the public on 7 February 2019. There were lots of foods, games, handmade jewelries and prizes that was prepared by scratch by the children themselves.

It was a night filled with so much fun and joy. The kids were happy as the carnival was profitable in return☺!
