  The residents of the Sri Saradha Devi Illam Welfare Association, Malaysia have celebrated the pongal festival with great enthusiasm at our association. This festival is dedicated to the sun god, Surya Bhagawan, and corresponds to Makar Sankranti, the harvest festival under many regional names celebrated throughout India. The three days of the Pongal festival are called Surya Pongal, and Mattu Pongal and Kaanum Pongal.

Weekly Yoga Class For Sri Saradha Devi Ashram

Weekly yoga classes has been conducted for the children of Sri Saradha Devi Ashram by Master Alagan. Theses classes are conducted on Fridays at 7.30pm onwards to encourage the children to lead a healtier lifestyles besides teaching them the benefits of yoga physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
We thank Master Alagan for his contribution of time and energy☺!
