SSDI Ponggal Celebration 2023

  The residents of the Sri Saradha Devi Illam Welfare Association, Malaysia have celebrated the pongal festival with great enthusiasm at our association. This festival is dedicated to the sun god, Surya Bhagawan, and corresponds to Makar Sankranti, the harvest festival under many regional names celebrated throughout India. The three days of the Pongal festival are called Surya Pongal, and Mattu Pongal and Kaanum Pongal.

Basic Culinary Skills Certificate Course by WHET Academy

The children from Sri Saradha Devi Ashram are currently attending a 8-week Basic Culinary Skills Certificate Course sponsored by WHET Academy Sdn Bhd. The classes are conducted by Madam Karene twice a week i.e. Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

We thank WHET Academy for providing this wonderful opportunity for the children from our association to develop their culinary skills.
