Nemili Sri Bala Peedam Peedathipathi Visits Sri Saradha Devi Ashram

It was indeed a blessed day for all of us when the Peedhathipathi of Nemili Sri Bala Peedam, H.H. Shri Elilmani Mahaswamigal visited Sri Saradha Devi Ashram together with all devotees from Nemili Sri Bala Peedam. He gave spiritual discourse and blessings to all the children from our association.

H.H. Shri Elilmani Mahaswamigal and his family decided to visit Sri Saradha Devi Ashram after learning that there is worship of Bala Tripurasundari being conducted similar to the one in Nemili.

For those who are not familiar with Nemili Sri Bala Peedam, it's definitely a place to visit if you are travelling to Chennai, India next. Sri Bala Peedam is not a temple, but a small house where the Sri Bala idol decided to reside. Nemili is located 55kms from Vellore, 24 kms from Kanchipuram, 16 kms from Arakonam, 30 kms from Sholingur, 20 kms from Kaveripakkam.

Nemili Sri Bala is a small and young Goddess, the size of the little finger but considered as powerful as the sun by her devotees. About a hundred years ago, the Goddess appeared in Shri Subramaniam Iyer's dream, asking him to come and fetch her from the river Kushasthalai. For about three days, Shri Subramaniam Iyer searched the backyard of his home and the river banks but in vain. The next day, he got hold of the three-inch bronze idol in the river, which he consecrated and placed in the center of his house, which is now currently the Bala Peedam.

Sri Saradha Devi Ashram is truly honored to have had these divine souls visiting and blessing all our children.

It's definitely a day to remember and cherish☺☺☺!
