  The residents of the Sri Saradha Devi Illam Welfare Association, Malaysia have celebrated the pongal festival with great enthusiasm at our association. This festival is dedicated to the sun god, Surya Bhagawan, and corresponds to Makar Sankranti, the harvest festival under many regional names celebrated throughout India. The three days of the Pongal festival are called Surya Pongal, and Mattu Pongal and Kaanum Pongal.

Mary Kay Voluntary Basic Make-Up Class for Children of Sri Saradha Devi Ashram

It was indeed another good day for the children at Sri Saradha Devi Ashram when they were given a free basic make-up class by Mary Kay Skin Care Consultant, Mrs Jeyamalar on 17 March 2018. The children had so much fun and joy attending the class. Excitement and happiness were seen clearly on their faces after the make over. 

In addition to this, Mrs Jeyamalar will also be conducting monthly baking and hair styling courses for our children.
