SSDI Ponggal Celebration 2023

  The residents of the Sri Saradha Devi Illam Welfare Association, Malaysia have celebrated the pongal festival with great enthusiasm at our association. This festival is dedicated to the sun god, Surya Bhagawan, and corresponds to Makar Sankranti, the harvest festival under many regional names celebrated throughout India. The three days of the Pongal festival are called Surya Pongal, and Mattu Pongal and Kaanum Pongal.

Our Children, Our PRIDE !

On 14 February 2018, two children from our association have won gold medals in race held at their School's Sports Day. They are Kanageswary and Kavipriya. Their victory was celebrated in conjunction with PUSPANITA's welfare program at our association. YBhg Puan Sri Datuk Seri Rohani Abdullah honored these two children during the event. It was truly a memorable celebration for our association and the kids ☺☺☺!
