SSDI Ponggal Celebration 2023

  The residents of the Sri Saradha Devi Illam Welfare Association, Malaysia have celebrated the pongal festival with great enthusiasm at our association. This festival is dedicated to the sun god, Surya Bhagawan, and corresponds to Makar Sankranti, the harvest festival under many regional names celebrated throughout India. The three days of the Pongal festival are called Surya Pongal, and Mattu Pongal and Kaanum Pongal.

Proud Achievement

On the 30th of September 2013, one of our children have participated in her school's annual sports event. To our surprise, she came back home proudly with 9 medals hanged on her neck. We applaud her for her participation and her determination to win. We are extremely proud of you my dear and continue making all of us proud. You have all our support and we love you dearly.
