SSDI Ponggal Celebration 2023

  The residents of the Sri Saradha Devi Illam Welfare Association, Malaysia have celebrated the pongal festival with great enthusiasm at our association. This festival is dedicated to the sun god, Surya Bhagawan, and corresponds to Makar Sankranti, the harvest festival under many regional names celebrated throughout India. The three days of the Pongal festival are called Surya Pongal, and Mattu Pongal and Kaanum Pongal.

Our Children
Persatuan Kabajikan Sri Saradha Devi Illam is a registered home with the Jabatan Kabajikan Masyarakat. It’s a home for 35 children (all girls). The children are orphans, single parents or from poor background, where the family finds it difficult to look after them. The children age range from 4 years to 18 years old. The children are schooling at Tadika Sinaran Bayu , SRJK (T) Rawang, SMK Sri Garing and SMK Batu 16. Persatuan Kebajikan Sri Saradha Devi Illam provides all assistance from food, clothes, school expenses, medical and all other needs free of charge.
